⚠️ Community Safety Alert – Attempted Burglary, Blakeman Way

Residents are advised of an attempted burglary that occurred on Blakeman Way at approximately 4:00am on Thursday morning.

An unknown offender accessed the rear of a property and snapped the door locks off in an attempt to gain entry. Fortunately, no entry was gained, and the suspect was disturbed by the resident before leaving the area. There was no CCTV coverage at the property.

Please take this opportunity to review your home security:

✅ Consider upgrading vulnerable locks to anti-snap (TS007-rated) locks.
✅ Install or maintain CCTV, video doorbells, or rear security cameras where possible.
✅ Ensure side gates and rear access points are secure.
✅ Fit additional security measures such as top and bottom door bolts on rear doors to make forced entry more difficult.
✅ Report any suspicious activity, especially during the early hours of the morning.
